For more than 30 years, the International Hospitality Committee of Fairfield County has been hosting One To World students and scholars for this holiday celebration. Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner in a U.S. home! Feast on turkey with all the trimmings, including vegetarian delights, and spend a day in one of New York City’s most beautiful suburbs, just one hour from Manhattan!
One To World volunteers will distribute food, clothing, blankets and personal care items to the homeless on the streets of New York City, in partnership with the non-profit Midnight Run. This unique late-night relief effort creates a forum of trust, sharing, understanding and human exchange. Come help by meeting the hungry and homeless of New York and distributing food that you help to prepare at the beginning of the evening.
